March 11th Fairfield/Westchester Media Professionals Networking Evening

We'll be holding our next evening media professionals networking event on March 11th at Norwalk at Meigas Restaurant (10 Wall Street, Norwalk).  In addition to our usual open evening of networking, we're also using it as a way to share work and will holding a screening of 1-2 short films from members in Meigas' private event room.   For details and to RSVP please click here.

A terrific Connected TV roundtable discussion and the upcoming public policy roundtable

Our first formal roundtable discussion was a great discuss.  I certainly enjoyed it but I'm basing that on what participants told me.  We had 27 people (yes, I know I said 18 max...I just can't say no) ranging from management consulting and finance to large media companes and media startups to proessional services...all with a media background.  The very lively discussion and debate quickly went from the connected TV to how marketing and media can manage and monetize a full, three screens strategy.   Within the next few weeks we will send out a short report that outlines some of the key insights drawn from the discussion.   Read more »

CT Digital Media Conference on October 28th

 We've got a terrific conference lined up for October 28th with speakers from AT&T U-verse in Connecticut, ESPN, Nielsen, RemoTV, Shop Text, DFJ Gotham Ventures and Blue Chip Venture Company.  Joseph Jaffe of Crayon will be our keynote.

Our evolving site design - we're getting there

You may have noticed a few changes in the Web site over the last few weeks.  Thanks to Tom Boone (www.tomboone.com), we've been working on a site layout that is more functional and organized.

The current changes are designed to have a separate blog section (to which I will try and post quick updates on a regular basis), member and network news section and events section and calendar.  We're almost done with this phase which will be topped with a new logo. Read more »
