December networking dinner wrap-up and what's next in 2009

We had a terrific group of about 30-40 at last night's dinner gathering in Norwalk. It was a very lively crowd made up of startups (Beeing), to content creators (actors, directors, head of a southern rock band) to investors, marketers and technologists showed up - all the parts of the digital media ecosystem.

Next we are looking at a networking event and panel focused on the year ahead in 2009. The first quarter of the year is driven by news out of CES (consumer electronics), NATPE (broadcasting) and the World Mobile Congress (wireless) all of which have digital media at the top of their agenda. 

We are also looking at doing jobs, business and talent fair to show what career and entrepreneurial opportunities are being created by Connecticut's digital media industry.
