On May 20th we held our print to digital breakfast panel to discuss startup, investment and business opportunities.  The event and breakfast came about thanks to the support of Wiggin & Dana. It was also a great example of how several CT area industry groups can join to build real business community - it was a partnership between CT Digital Media, the Economic Development Corporation of New Haven, the Yale Entrepreneurial Institute, the Connecticut Technology Council and the CT Venture Group.

The panelists included Tom Wiley, Publisher of The New Haven Register, Peter Longo, Executive Director of Connecticut Innovations, John Blossom, Founder of Shore Communications and David Schiffman, Director of Digital Publishing at Yale University Press.

The panel opened with a few demos from area startups focusing on print to digital - PaperG, a Yale startup focusing on local ad creation, QRSYNQ, a mobile app that connects print reading to digital and Tutor Trove, is a software company that allows users to generate and share content seamlessly across multiple platforms.
