UPMC’s SmartRoom Technology, which streamlines real-time patient information location tracking devices and EMR technology to a patient's bedside monitor, will be utilized by Stamford Hospital in patients’ rooms. IBM, which partially funded the technology, will provide installation, systems integration, design and other services and software to Stamford Hospital, one of the first in the country to adopt SmartRoom.
