The Future of Video Production - Panel and Networking Evening
An evening of networking and a panel on the future of video production. The panel will discuss how video is and will be produced for a world where it may end up on a PC, TV or mobile screen (or movie theater). This is a Q&A driven panel so please come prepared with questions.
Panelists:
- Video production for TV, the Web and mobile - Chris Campbell, CEO of Palace Digital Studios
- Video production for the big screen (the future of Digital Cinema) - Nick Dager, Digital Cinema Report
- The future of video distribution and how it affects production - TBD
December 17th Networking Evening (with pizza and wine)
I thought we'd wrap up a very interesting 2008 with a good old fashioned networking dinner for executives in media and related industries. We'll have a few tables at Fat Cat Joes - known for great pizza and their wine selection. I'll also be there asking people what types of programs they are interested in for 2009. In addition to meetups, we'll be doing more panel, roundtable and conference programs through CT Digital Media (www.ctdigitalmedia). Please do come with ideas and suggestions. Please note this is a not a sponsored event so while entry is free, the restuarant will probably want you to pay for the food you eat and wine (or other liquids) you drink. As always, please RSVP so we can be sure to have enough space. I hope to see you on the 17th. Ephraim Cohen
