Monthly Digital Media Business Networking Events

March 11th Fairfield/Westchester Media Professionals Networking Evening

We'll be holding our next evening media professionals networking event on March 11th at Norwalk at Meigas Restaurant (10 Wall Street, Norwalk).  In addition to our usual open evening of networking, we're also using it as a way to share work and will holding a screening of 1-2 short films from members in Meigas' private event room.   For details and to RSVP please click here.

CES Roundtable - the connected TV and the digital media industry

I hope you can join CT Digital Media on January 30th at 8am in Stamford for a roundtable breakfast to discuss the new interactive television capabilities hitting the market this year.   At CES this week, we’ve seen the debut of a range of new TV's with the ability to plug into a broadband connection and provide instant access to streaming movies and TV (e.g., Netflix), video games, pictures and Web applications running on the Yahoo! widget platform. 

At the breakfast meeting we will review these products and capabilities in order to discuss the digital media business potential.   This meeting of up to 22 participants will include executives from the broadcast, marketing , PR, content, production and other related industries (if we run out of room we will schedule a second roundtable).  Here the specifics:

December networking dinner wrap-up and what's next in 2009

We had a terrific group of about 30-40 at last night's dinner gathering in Norwalk. It was a very lively crowd made up of startups (Beeing), to content creators (actors, directors, head of a southern rock band) to investors, marketers and technologists showed up - all the parts of the digital media ecosystem. Thank all of you for coming last night and making our first CT Digital Media Business Networking event a success.  It was a real pleasure
meeting everyone.  If you were note able to make it, I look forward to meeting you at the next event.
