Roundtable on Digital Media Public Policy

 The following document contains the notes and findings from the March 2009 Digital Media and Public Policy Roundtable.

Digital media public policy roundtable notes now available

 

You can now download the notes from the February 11 digital media public policy roundtable in Hartford, CT.  The roundtable attracted a wide variety of more than 40 public and private sector leaders seeking to understand how to build a permanent digital media industry in Connecticut and generate high-quality jobs during an unprecedented economic crisis.

NBC Universal Consider Stamford as the Studio Location for Several Talk Shows

According to a release from Governer Rell's office, "Governor M. Jodi Rell today announced that NBC Universal is in negotiations with Connecticut on a project that is anticipated to result in a large television production studio at the Rich Forum Theater in Stamford, bringing approximately 150 to 200 jobs and an initial infrastructure investment in excess of $3 million to the state."
