Ephraim Cohen is the founder of The Fortex Group, a strategic communications firm for the digital media industry. Ephraim has designed and implemented strategic communications programs for a range of digital media related companies including Accenture, Ericsson, the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore, Samsung, Musiwave and Dailymotion. Ephraim also co-founded CT Digital Media, a business development network for companies and executives in Connecticut’s digital media industry. Prior to founding The Fortex Group, Ephraim was a senior figure at Edelman, one of the world's largest public relations firms, where he managed the global information technology practice from its New York HQ and ran the Boston office. Ephraim handled a number of Edelman’s most significant global clients including CeBIT America, Alcatel and Global Crossing as well as industry programs for the governments of Singapore and the United Kingdom. Ephraim began his career at Business Week, the world’s leading global business news weekly, as an Assistant Editor in the Executive Programs division. Ephraim later became the Managing Director of the International Anti-Counterfeiting Coalition (IACC), where he worked on trade policy and served as Manager of the Digital Future Coalition, an organization focused on global copyright policy. Mr. Cohen holds a Master's degree in International Political Economy from Georgetown University's Graduate Public Policy Program and Bachelor’s in political science and dramatic literature from New York University.
